About Forkpro

Founded in 2001 by Todd Brennan, Forkpro Australia is focused upon providing operator training and licencing as well as specialist advice for those involved in the forklift and other load handling related industry sectors.

Forkpro Australia aims to create the safest possible working environment whilst productivity remains a key focal point.

Forkpro Australia services take into account all Australian standards and legislation governing the use of forklifts and other equipment within the workplace, helping to minimise risk and ensure every legal obligation regarding the use of forklifts is met.

Forkpro Australia is a VETAB NSW Registered training Organisation (No: 91514) and provides services with our own highly professional trainers and assessors around Australia or through one of our professional alliances.

Training courses fall into 3 groups.

  1. The new 'high risk work' licencing courses.
  2. Nationally recognized training courses.
  3. Other types of general courses such as refresher training.

In general the equipment we provide training and/or licensing for are:

  • Forklift (LF)
  • Order Picking Forklift (LO)
  • Elevating Work Platform (WP)
  • Vehicle Loading Crane (CV)
  • Scissor lift
  • Skid Steer Loader
  • Front End Loader
  • Pedestrian operated equipment (pallet trucks etc)
  • Forklift attachment use.
  • Forklift Battery charging safety.

Todd Brennan

Todd Brennan has nearly 25 years experience in the forklift industry and has held some key positions with one of the world's leading forklift manufacturers.

His experience includes representation on Australian Standards committees, Chairman of the Australian Industrial Truck Associations Engineering Committee and work on WorkCover NSW Industry Reference Groups. Further, he has been involved with The Monash University Accident Research Centre's forklift safety project.

Nominated by Workcover NSW for an award for individual contribution to workplace safety.

Todd continues to actively campaign for forklift and equipment workplace safety through Forkpro Australia and with other endeavours such the Forklift Safety Seminars in previous that were arranged at no cost to attendees.

As a former Australian champion motorcycle racer he puts his competitive nature and ability to manage risk into play in a different way these days.
